Why this blog?

Substance Use Disorder is a family disease.

If you or a loved one has struggled with a Substance Use Disorder you know the path of destruction left behind. Family members watch as the substance use robs their loved ones of any morals or values. They stand by helpless and watch as their loved one sinks deeper and deeper into the dark abys. The purpose of this blog is to share information about Substance Use Disorder. I want people to know that there is hope, recovery is possible. My family has walked this journey and we know there is a way out. Never, ever give up hope. This blog is for you, mom, dad, grandparent, sister, brother, son or daughter.
